It is clearly pointed out in the Technical Specification for Washing and Disinfection of Hospital Medical Fabric (WS/T508-2016) that the water soluble bag is made of polymers, polyaccharides and other raw materials, soluble and soluble as well as soluble and soluble in water at a specific temperature. It is useful for holding infectious fabrics and has a double layer strengthening structure. Disposable plastic bags with biohazard warning signs.

Water-soluble packaging bag characteristics
At present, water-soluble packaging bags used clinically have specific requirements for water-soluble properties, physical and mechanical properties, drop properties, load-bearing properties, sealing properties, and complete biodegradability of water-soluble bags.
Clinical use of water-soluble packaging bags
Medical fabrics shall be collected in accordance with the collection process and transferred to the laundry room for washing

(1)Days need to open the bag, directly into the washing machine
(2)Soluble binding, water-soluble thread, inner bag dissolved, clothing released
(3)Wash and disinfect
2, after washing the outer bag treatment requirements
(1)Take out clean clothes
(2)Pick up the outer bag
(3)Clean outer bag into the garbage can
Medical anti-infection fabric collection truck
In order to facilitate clinical work, supporting products can be selected, such as medical anti-infection fabric collection truck.
Relevant management and regulations
First, foreign management provisions
1. The United States Medical Scrubbing Accreditation Committee (HLAC) was established in 2005, which stipulates that all laundry service providers in the United States must be certified, regulated and authorized by HLAC when undertaking laundry services in hospitals, nursing homes and other health care institutions.
2. U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Guidelines for Environmental Infection Control in Health Care Settings (2003) state that contaminated hospital fabrics often contain a large number of microorganisms from human materials such as blood, dander, feces, urine, vomit, and other human tissues and fluids. Such as a large number of fabrics contaminated with these potential infectious substances, serious content can reach 105~108CFU/cm2. Disposing of soiled clothing in the wrong way in the hospital, such as shaking, can also contribute to the spread of disease.
3. The UK National Health System (NHS) Health Service guidelines require:
1) The disinfection of used clothing must be closed packaging.
2) It is recommended to use water-soluble bags for the disinfection of used clothes, and the bags need to be tied before being sent to the laundry room.
3) Pay attention to prevent the liquid (such as body fluid or blood) in the collection bag from leaking out of the bag, causing pollution to the environment and infection to the staff.
4) The laundry process must include a sterilizing phase and the temperature should be maintained at 65 degrees Celsius (150 degrees Fahrenheit) for no less than 10 minutes or, preferably, at 71 degrees Celsius (160 degrees Fahrenheit) for no less than 3 minutes. The proper extension of the treatment time can ensure that the heat can penetrate to achieve disinfection effect.
Second, Domestic standard requirements
National health industry standard WS/ T508-2016 "Technical Specification for Washing and Disinfection of Hospital Medical Fabric" requirements

3.2.1.2 Operation requirements for classified collection, transport and storage of medical fabrics
3.2.1.2.1 Soiled and infected fabrics shall be treated in accordance with this standard
Sort and collect. Reduce jitter during collection.
3.2.1.2.2 Identified infectious fabrics should be collected in an airtight manner at the bedside of the patient.
3.2.1.2.3 Collection bags (boxes) containing infectious fabrics should be orange
Color, with "infectious fabric" logo: qualified hospitals can use special
Use water-soluble packaging bags.
3.2.1.2.4 The amount of special water-soluble packaging bags shall not exceed the package
Two thirds of the bag, and should be continuously kept sealed before washing, disinfection.

3.2.1.3 Principles and methods of washing and disinfection
Touching fabric:
3.2.1.3.1 Manual washing is not suitable. Special aircraft should be used for washing and disinfection
Selective heat washing method; Sanitary isolation washing equipment should be used if conditions permit.
3.2.1.3.2 Washing and disinfection can be carried out simultaneously during mechanical washing and disinfection
The program of
3.2.1.3.3 Infectious fabrics in water-soluble packaging bags shall be contained
Directly into the washing equipment under closed condition.
3.2.1.3.4 Infectious fabrics that are not heat resistant should be pre-washed at the same time
Disinfection shall be carried out according to Appendix A.
Since the outbreak of the novel coronavirus in early 2020, water-soluble packaging bags have played a positive role in preventing cross-infection and ensuring occupational safety.
The General Office of the National Health Commission made the following requirements on the use of water-soluble packaging bags in Annex VI, Technical Plan for Disinfection in Specific Places (Version 1), Disinfection Methods for Common Contaminated Objects (Version 5) of the Third edition of the Prevention and Control Plan for Pneumonia caused by novel coronavirus Infection.

(5) Clothing, bedding and other textiles
Aerosols should be avoided during collection and it is recommended that they be disposed of by centralized incineration of medical waste. If there are no visible contaminants, if it is necessary to reuse, it can be sterilized by steam or boiling for 30 minutes. Or 500mg/L oxygenated disinfectant can be soaked for 30 minutes.
Then according to the conventional cleaning: or the fruit in the water dissolved strange bag directly into the washing machine, washing and disinfection at the same time for 30 minutes, and maintain 500mgL effective oxygen content: expensive clothes can choose ethylene oxide method for disinfection treatment.
(6) Hand hygiene.
All personnel involved in field work should enhance hand hygiene measures
Water-soluble packaging bag advantages
1. Comply with WS/T 508-2016 "Technical Specification for Washing and Disinfection of Hospital Medical Fabric".
2. Performance of water-soluble anti-infection medical fabric disposal bag: it has superior air barrier performance, and can effectively prevent the spread of bacteria after the packaging and isolation of contaminated medical articles.
3. With the feature of being completely dissolved in hot water, medical workers can pack, seal and isolate the contaminated medical articles at the place where they are produced, and during the process of collection, classification, inventory, transportation, cleaning and disinfection, etc., the contaminated medical articles can be completely packed, sealed and isolated, thus reducing the exposure chance of contaminated medical articles. Reduce the risk of contamination to health care workers and patients and harm to the hospital environment.
4, with the characteristics of dissolution and complete biodegradation in water, will not produce any polluting medical waste and cause water pollution, reduce the cost of polluting medical waste treatment expenses.
5, with good antistatic property, can reduce the impact of medical instruments and the adsorption of polluting dust.
6, can greatly reduce the labor intensity of medical staff, greatly improve the working environment, conducive to labor protection.
